Excellant location for our visit to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea within easy walking distance of the hotel.

Loved climate control, multi-channel TV, and a microwave in the room. We had a private bathroom. It was in an absolutely perfect location to the shore. Further, it was adjacent to many stores/restaurants, an excellent beach and numerous restaurants and drug stores.

Lovely traditional hotel with a very clean pool and views of garden. Honestly no complaints.

Rooms with big windows had a family atmosphere. Had a shower, hair dryers, and bath sheets in the bathroom. The location was PERFECT, relatively close to Laura Ward Park.

Small hotel in a beautiful area short walk to an excellent beach and numerous restaurants and the square where there are bars and restaurants and the marvellous beach and pier. Excellent service, great and very obliging staff. Great and amazing location, right next to Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

The location in a truly beautiful area was excellant and there where a mall and a supermarket nearby. Fort Lauderdale Executive airport was hardly 15 minutes away by car. Well-equipped and nicely remodeled room with big windows, I had a pleasant stay. The food was good overall.

There were a kitchen area and a storage space in the room, thoroughly enjoyed that. Also, location was marvellous, not too far away from Lauderdale-by-the-Sea.

My recent stay at Breakaway Inn was fantastic! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and there were plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. The studio apartment I rented was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The owner was welcoming and kind, making me feel right at home. The highlight of my stay was the beautiful garden surrounding the inn. I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Breakaway Inn for solo travelers.

breakaway inn guest house was the perfect choice for our relaxing spa holidays in fort lauderdale. the location was superb, with easy access to the beach, shopping mall, and restaurants. the staff was friendly and caring, and the rooms were comfortable with a well-equipped kitchenette and a cozy bed. we enjoyed our time at the pool and the beautifully maintained grounds.

The owners are on site and are very accomodating.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem in Lauderdale by the Sea. This charming inn, conveniently located just a short walk from the beach and restaurants, made for a perfect getaway. The owners, Margaret and her husband, were lovely hosts who went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The well-equipped kitchen and outdoor grills allowed for easy meal preparations. The inn's grounds offered plenty of seating and a peaceful atmosphere. The only minor drawback was the low placement of the air conditioning unit in the living room, which sometimes directed the airflow uncomfortably. Nevertheless, the overall cleanliness, friendly atmosphere, and prime location of this inn make it a wonderful choice for a beach vacation. Considering all these factors, I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

My stay at The Breakaway was a perfect beach getaway. The room had a full kitchen stocked with everything I needed, and large windows with lovely views. The grounds were well-maintained with BBQs and tables available. The location was ideal, just a couple of blocks from the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The owners, Margaret and her family, were welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay seamless.
